Jewellery by Sanders has always been a family business since 1982. Established in Oshawa, we are proud supporters of our community. Our store and family is involved in several local annual fundraising events.

This is a unique jewellery store with not only a retail showroom but also offers an ‘on-site’ fully operational, workshop. Here, goldsmiths (bench jewellers), designers and gem-setters work together to create and service your valued items.

We also offer appraisal services at our location which has a full gemmological lab. A Graduate Gemologist/ Accredited Appraiser is on-site.”

How did we start? The late Bill Sanders had a dream of becoming a goldsmith and watchmaker. As he became more involved in the jewellery trade, he fell in love with the study of gemstones and diamonds. He passed on his passion for jewellery to his daughter and son-in-law. Before he retired from his own work in this field he opened Jewellery by Sanders with his family and today the third generation is actively continuing and expanding Bill’s dream. The Sanders have spent many years studying traditional and modern jewellery making and gem-setting from experts in jewellery design and goldsmithing education. The family passes these skills on and is directly involved in education within the jewellery trade. Joe and Sonja Sanders serve as directors on industry boards to keep current with the state of this wonderful trade and to ‘give-back’ where their knowledge and time is needed.
